On Friday 20th of January, 5th Class visited Butler Gallery in Kilkenny to take part in an Animation workshop. We learned about the production of Cartoon Saloon's latest movie, My Father's Dragon and Paul explained to us how the animation is made and put together. We even got to try out our own ideas with our own flip books. We discussed the story behind the movie and looked at the different characters and their roles in the movie. We really enjoyed learning about animation and creating our own designs on the mural wall.
